How we collect, use, store and protect your personal information.
Last updated 8 November 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FID Destiny Centre Pty Ltd (ABN 94 680 949 017), trading as ReSmile ("ReSmile", "we", "us"), handles personal information. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
When you use this website or contact us, we may collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method and time, and preferred location;
- the treatment area you are interested in and any message you choose to send;
- how you found us and basic information about your visit, such as the page you enquired from; and
- technical information collected automatically, such as your browser type, device and pages visited.
If you become a patient, we will also collect health information needed to provide dental care. This is collected directly by our clinical team, not through website enquiry forms. Please do not include medical history or other sensitive health information in website forms.
Why we collect it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange consultations, provide dental services, communicate with you, improve our website and services, and meet our legal obligations. We will only send you marketing communications if you have agreed, and you can opt out at any time.
When you send an enquiry, our website stores it securely, emails a notification to our team and sends you an automatic confirmation email. If you reply to that email, your reply comes to our team inbox.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our website and respond to enquiries. These include Cloudflare (website hosting and secure storage of enquiries), Resend (sending enquiry notification and confirmation emails), Microsoft 365 (our email) and, where used, our customer relationship management (CRM), appointment and analytics providers. Some of these providers are based in or store data outside Australia, including in the United States and Japan. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information in line with the APPs.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required or authorised by law.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This only happens if you choose Accept on our cookie notice. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited and approximate location. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer, or through your browser settings.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections and access controls. We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law, including health record retention requirements.
Access and correction
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
